GTA VI DualSense questions

When do GTA 6 DualSense pre-orders start?

What time do US pre-orders open?
PlayStation Direct lists 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET for the United States.
When do the controllers launch?
Launch begins November 19, 2026. PlayStation says the precise launch date and availability can vary by country or region.
What colors are available?
PlayStation announced separately named Black Limited Edition and White Limited Edition models.
Are both controllers limited editions?
Yes. PlayStation describes both models as limited editions available in limited quantities.
Where can I buy the Black edition?
PlayStation says the Black edition is exclusive to PlayStation Direct where that store is available, with select retailers serving other regions.
Where can I buy the White edition?
PlayStation says the White edition will be offered globally through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers, subject to regional availability.
Is one color functionally better?
No functionality difference has been announced. The confirmed differences are visual direction and channel language, not performance.
What design details are official?
PlayStation describes a shimmering color-shifting finish inspired by Vice City sunset and neon hues, custom palm-tree details molded into the controller, and GTA VI branding.
Which DualSense features does GTA VI support?
PlayStation confirms haptic feedback and adaptive triggers with dynamic resistance that responds to in-game action.
Does a copy of GTA VI come with the controller?
A game copy is not confirmed in the cited first-party controller announcement. Treat inclusion as unknown unless PlayStation publishes bundle terms.
Is there a GTA VI PS5 console bundle?
A console bundle is not confirmed in the cited first-party controller announcement. Controller art should not be used as proof of a console edition.
Are the controllers sold out?
Current regional stock is unverified. A passed pre-order date proves neither availability nor sell-out; SOLD_OUT requires a live first-party inventory check.
Does PlayStation Direct offer launch-day delivery?
PlayStation says eligible PlayStation Direct pre-orders may receive free launch-day delivery. Eligibility and regional terms still apply.
Verification trail
Commercial status is intentionally conservative: scheduled is not open, unavailable is not sold out, and not announced is not no.
Check the region before interpreting availability
The announced order start is now in the past. That resolves the old upcoming-date language, but it does not tell us whether a particular storefront can accept an order today. Stock, delivery promises and restocks require a separate live regional check.
Use the official announcement and store entry points in the buyer guide. Neither an unavailable page nor a retailer search result is sufficient to mark both colors sold out globally.
Keep the hardware purchase separate
The two color variants are separately sold controller products. The announcement's controller design and ordering details do not create an extra game entitlement, console bundle or gameplay bonus. Check the actual product contents before purchasing.
