GTA 6 College distinguishes first-party publications, attributed developer interviews, preview reporting and observations in official media. Official means a statement within the named publisher's scope, not that every source is Rockstar or every inference is confirmed.
Seven internal evidence states
The registry stores OFFICIAL, OFFICIAL_MEDIA_OBSERVATION, ROCKSTAR_INTERVIEW, REPUTABLE_PREVIEW, COMMUNITY_IDENTIFICATION, UNCONFIRMED, and RUMOR. The interface reduces them to clear reader-facing badges without erasing provenance.
Freshness is not decoration
Verification dates change when a source is checked and page modification dates change only when substantive content changes. Deploying the site does not rewrite every sitemap date.
Official for which publisher and which claim?
An official publication is first-party evidence within its publisher's scope. Rockstar can state game facts; PlayStation can state its own hardware and storefront terms. Neither label turns an independent interview, a translated preview or a visual interpretation into a Rockstar launch specification.
A developer's words in an interview remain attributed to the interview and speaker. Secondary reporting must name the intermediate source. A source that cannot be reopened keeps its earlier successful-check date and a visible access limitation; an editorial revision is not a fresh source verification.
